If you are applying for a lawn sprinkler, building, plumbing, or mechanical/HVAC permit, upload a copy of your master license, liability insurance, and a photo copy of your ID.


Contractor must comply with all the following codes and regulations: 2018 IBC, 2018 IRC, 2018 IPC, 2018 IMC, 2018 IFGC, 2018 NEC, 2017 IFC

Inspection times are 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday (excluding holidays and closure of City Hall). Every effort will be made to complete inspections in a timely manner.

Notice: The City of Gilmer adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate.
The tax rate will effectively be raised by 8% and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $31.06.
